Sekundaria Language Trip to Malta

10 August 2022

At the end of June, the time had finally come: the Seku set off for Malta, accompanied by their language teachers, to test and practice their English skills.

The young people were housed with host families in pairs or groups of three. Mornings were spent learning, and afternoons exploring the island.

Classes took place in small groups and were led by very friendly and appreciative teachers. The students were especially won over by the focus on communicative and interactive learning together.

Cultural highlights included a visit to the old town of Valletta, where the group even got to witness two cannonballs being fired into the sea. Gozo and Mdina were also visited.

Of course, particularly popular were the shared hours at the beach club with diving and swimming in the sea and in the caves, as well as the evening get-togethers on the beach.

The young people returned tired (the return flight was really early) but full of wonderful impressions and memories.
