Primaria 2 End-of-Year Trip to Circus Camp in Drosendorf
As their end-of-year trip, the Primaria 2 spent three days at the circus camp in Drosendorf.
There, the acrobats and circus educators Suza and Tanja put together a varied workshop program for the children. With plenty of fun and stamina, the children practiced performance skills and stage presence!
Juggling, object manipulation, balancing, trapeze acrobatics, clowning, unicycling, aerial silk gymnastics, and playful rhythm and theater games got the children sweating - partly thanks to the hot summer weather. Full of joy, unknown talents were discovered in the ring, and small and big successes were celebrated.
After the workshops, the children cooled off at the outdoor pool right next to the circus grounds: in the high temperatures, the water rats let loose at the diving board, diving in the deep pool, and having rubber-ring water fights.
They slept in the circus wagons, which also offered shelter from the thunderstorms that had been building up from the heat and then broke loose loudly, with lightning and thunder.
The children thoroughly enjoyed these active and joyful days together, and getting through occasional homesickness together, as well as the excitement of the lightning and thunder, brought the community even closer together.
